SANGEETA SHARDA
Graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from India, I have had the privilege to work in India and Singapore before making my way to Australia, honing my skills in the process. My journey led me to further enhance my expertise by completing a Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2011. Over the years, I gained invaluable knowledge and hands-on clinical experience as a dedicated musculoskeletal physio working in hospitals, private practice and community environments.
My decision to specialize in pelvic floor physiotherapy was deeply influenced by my own personal childbirth journey. Recognizing a gap in knowledge and care in this area, I pursued additional training, culminating in completing a Graduate Certificate program in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2022.

My strength lies in my ability to truly listen to the narratives of each patient, working collaboratively to understand their unique experiences to create a personalised therapeutic journey. I empathize with the challenges women face regarding pelvic health and strive to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable sharing their stories and struggles. I aim to ensure that each person feels heard, valued and supported on their journey to better health.
I remain committed to staying current in my field through ongoing professional development, actively seeking out the latest research and advancements in pelvic health.
